Today, we went to the Australian Open Canoe/Kayak Slalom – World Series at the Penrith Whitewater Stadium in the west of Sydney. While the weather was not ideal for photography we really enjoyed ourselves. Seeing the competition reminded me a little of my time doing the kayak whitewater racing circle back in Germany.
While not many of the current top athletes showed up for the event (Australia is just too far away to be affordable) we could see some good runs.
